We are collecting resumes now and will contact qualified candidates to discuss potential opportunities upon contract award.\n\nPOSITION SUMMARY\n\nThe Release Manager owns release management for a Salesforce Center of Innovation, coordinating a high volume of changes across Integration, Stage, and Production environments.\n\nYou will run the release calendar, prepare change request packages, carry them through the Change Control Board, and support the go/no-go call. When something breaks in production, the hotfix path is yours: validation, expedited approvals, deployment, and rollback readiness. The role suits someone who stays calm against a deadline and is disciplined about documentation.\n\nWHAT YOU WILL DO\n\nRelease Coordination\n\nOwn release readiness coordination, release calendars, deployment communications, and go/no-go support for assigned changes.\nCoordinate major, minor, and hotfix releases and maintain release schedules across Salesforce environments.\nConfirm that implementation and rollback procedures, approvals, dependencies, and technical resources are aligned before any production change.\n\nChange Control\n\nPrepare change request packages covering implementation detail, rollback plans, responsible resources, and approvals.\nPresent and update changes at the Change Control Board.\nMaintain change control artifacts so every production change has a complete and auditable record.\n\nHotfix Execution\n\nPlan and execute urgent hotfixes, including technical validation, expedited approvals, deployment, and rollback preparedness.\nCommunicate quickly and clearly to stakeholders through the life of an urgent change.\nSupport after-hours release readiness where required.\n\nTechnical Review and DevSecOps\n\nReview Technical Design Documents for technical soundness, standards compliance, security, and release readiness.\nSupport DevSecOps pipeline operations, including repository setup and resolution of pipeline issues.\nTrack deployment outcomes and drive down the causes of failed deployments.\n\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.\n10 years of relevant experience in enterprise IT, Salesforce, release management, or closely related technical services.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a government background investigation.\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\n\nSalesforce Certified Development Lifecycle and Deployment Architect.\nExperience with Salesforce Government Cloud or other FedRAMP environments.\nGitLab and DevSecOps pipeline operations.\nWorking familiarity with Salesforce CLI, VS Code with Salesforce extensions, and scratch orgs.\nServiceNow or a comparable IT service management platform, plus Jira and Confluence.\nPrior federal or public sector delivery experience.\n\nPERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS\n\nThe team operates against contract service levels for deployment success rate, release inquiry response, repository creation, critical DevSecOps issue resolution, and change request creation. Specific targets are reviewed during onboarding.\n\nWORK LOCATION\n\nPrimarily remote within the contiguous United States.
