This role is critical to expanding the emerging subrogation market for CCC and as such is responsible for enhancing the technological edge of CCC’s subrogation products through technical excellence, innovation, and agile development.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nPartner with product managers and business stakeholders to define technical goals and outcomes for the ML team\nCoordinate cross-functional collaboration and delivery for ML subrogation initiatives\nLead the team to deliver cutting-edge ML features using best-in-class software engineering practices\nEstablish industry-leading standards for ML development and deployment\n\nRequirements:\nDeep understanding of ML lifecycle: development, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and iteration\nExpertise with ML system design, model deployment, and production ML systems\nExperience in engineering production-grade GenAI features with robust validation, sanity checks, and structured outputs to mitigate hallucination and business risk\nProficiency with AWS cloud and MLOps (Sagemaker, Lambda, Stepfunctions, IAM)\nStrong software engineering fundamentals and best practices (CICD, Test-Driven Development, Infrastructure as Code)\nProven ability to build, mentor, and scale high-performing technical teams\nExperience translating business objectives into technical roadmaps and deliverables\nAbility to balance technical excellence with business priorities and timelines\nExcellent communication skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders including articulation of AI risks and measures taken to mitigate it\nStrong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills\n8+ years in ML/Data Science, with 3+ years managing ML/DS teams\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nExperience in subrogation, claims processing, insurance or financial technology\nExperience in managing teams of 10+ engineers\n\nInterview Policy & Privacy Notice:\n\nA video interview is required for this position.
