The successful candidate will work in an exciting, high profile, team-oriented, and fast-paced environment and working closely alongside engineers and system teams. Ideally, you have a background in firmware and software, with some hardware and have expert ability to understand the technical intricacies of each new technology. You will support a cross functional team and is responsible for planning, collaborating, and communicating new technologies serving as a bridge between internal and external stakeholders, including Engineering R&D and System teams. You will refine the requirements and distributes work into logical customer valued deliverables, and opportunistically identifies synergies with Client's existing systems Additionally, you will also manage communication with senior executives, ensuring on-time delivery or escalations as necessary and support organizational strategy. This Program Manager position supports a cross functional team that creates, designs and develops BIOS firmware for Client Business Desktops and Notebooks. The main objective of this position is to act as an Agile champion to a firmware development team as well as manage projects.Additional responsibilities include:Ensure that scrum process is followed, and the backlog is executed per priorities set by the Product OwnerTrack and report metrics, program risks, issues and status to senior managementCoordinating activities across software teams, firmware teams and other functional teamsLead documentation efforts related to new developmentThe Program Manager is responsible for leading a matrix team through the engineering development process for business notebook and desktop PCs.
