Evaluates trade-offs in materials, composites, coatings, and other selections to best meet design objectives. Aviation background and aircraft interior experience preferred.\n\nEmployees working on programs subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations must qualify as a US Person which is defined as a US Citizen, a Permanent Resident who does not work for a foreign company/foreign government/foreign governmental agency or organization, or a political asylee for legal compliance purposes.\n\nRequired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities\nAbility to check electrical engineering drawings for Fit, Form and Function.\nStrong Computer Aided Drafting/Design skills using AutoCAD and/or Inventor.\nThree dimensional (3D) design/drafting skills are preferred.\nKnowledge of industry design and documentation standards.\nProficient in installation drawings, harness assemblies and the installation of electrical equipment.\nUnderstands wire diagrams, schematics, system block diagrams and topologies.\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications.\nAbility to work independently and cross-functionally as part of an established and growing team.\nStrong communication and problem-solving skills.\nTime-management and organizational skills.\nExperience adhering to budget and project schedules.\nAbility to sit for extended periods of time, use hands to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and have close/color vision ability to adjust focus.\nAbility to travel as required.\nAbility to work outside of core business hours as required.\nThe expected WA salary range for this position is between $90,000.00 - $124,000.00 USD.
