Assistant Night and Weekend Manager
Assistant Manager Agreement:
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
-Learning the different tools within the POS system, control and WISR sheets to better understand the numbers behind the scenes as to better help maintain food costs and labor. Including:
Utilizing inventory sheets
Truck order guides
Subventory (to enter truck, uploading invoices to the POS, and entering inventory)
Scheduling
Hourly bread usage charts posted weekly
Learning how to place drop shipments and coordinating pick-ups
Develop and Analyze WISR and control sheets
-Leading every shift by example with proper thru-put and policy enactment, keeping a clean line, clean hands, and ensuring tasks are completed daily, as well as coming up with and leaning on new/old ways to maintain efficiency, such as: ACT (Ask Confirm Thank) to keep things moving while making sure staff is:
Washing hands between tasks
Following all Food Safety Standards
Providing deep cleaning guides for staff weekly
Wearing FULL, clean uniform
All tasks completed before anyone clocks out
Tossing old cookies by 9am and bread by 11am
Greeting guests within 3 seconds
-Assisting with training at appropriate times to ensure staff is knowledgeable and efficient on tasks, prep, and sandwich building, as well as making sure they understand the guides and references for 'build charts for bread, prep, and cookies to minimize waste.
-Allowing breaks at proper times to making certain staff does not remain idle and sending people home when there is nothing left to do
-Acknowledgement and accountability. Making sure when staff are doing a good job or going above and beyond, they are acknowledged in some way (ideas to appreciate are welcome), as well as making sure when things are not done correctly, it is being corrected and monitored with follow-up paperwork to document any incidents to ensure people are being held accountable. Paperwork including:
Employee reviews
Communication reports
Write-ups
-Working together to build a better work environment and coming up with solutions to any internal conflicts that may arise in store. Communicate with Christina and/or Kristin if outside assistance is needed for back up
-Tackling coverage issues if/when they arise to ensure no one is left alone and minimizing store closures
-Group chat interactions and monitoring to ensure tasks are being completed when not at the store. Keeping an eye out and asking for cash-ins, bread counts, temp logs, and checklists to be certain staff is still completing tasks and the store isn’t on fire just because a manager isn't in the building
-Communicating any maintenance issues

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
