This position will work with Government leads, engineers, software developers, testers, logisticians, cybersecurity personnel, configuration management teams, and other technical stakeholders to ensure EWOK requirements, interfaces, test activities, documentation, and system changes are properly planned, coordinated, and executed.\n\nThis role requires a systems engineer who can bridge technical execution and program coordination, ensuring EWOK‑related efforts are aligned to mission needs, documented accurately, tested effectively, and maintained in accordance with customer requirements.\n\nThis role requires in‑person support.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nProvide systems engineering support for EWOK system development, integration, testing, evaluation, sustainment, and lifecycle activities.\n\nSupport requirements definition, requirements analysis, requirements allocation, traceability, verification, and validation for EWOK‑related capabilities.\n\nWork with Government and technical stakeholders to capture system needs, operational requirements, technical constraints, and integration dependencies.\n\nSupport development and evaluation of EW system capabilities, including technical assessments, engineering analysis, lab testing, and field test support.\n\nAssist with planning, documentation, coordination, and execution of EWOK‑related engineering activities, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.\n\nCoordinate across engineering, software, test, cybersecurity, logistics, configuration management, quality, and program support teams to ensure EWOK tasking is properly aligned and communicated.\n\nSupport system design reviews, technical interchange meetings, Integrated Product Teams, configuration control boards, test planning meetings, and program reviews.\n\nDevelop, review, and maintain technical documentation, including system descriptions, requirements documentation, test plans, test reports, technical reports, interface documentation, engineering recommendations, and briefing materials.\n\nSupport evaluation of system performance, integration readiness, interoperability, reliability, maintainability, and mission effectiveness.\n\nAnalyze test data, engineering findings, user feedback, and system issues to identify risks, deficiencies, corrective actions, and recommended improvements.\n\nSupport lab, field, and operationally relevant test activities by assisting with test planning, test objectives, data collection, test execution, and post‑test analysis.\n\nSupport threat/mission load, technique evaluation, and system capability assessment activities as applicable to EWOK mission requirements.\n\nAssist with documenting technical issues, lessons learned, engineering rationale, and recommendations for Government review.\n\nSupport configuration management activities by tracking system baselines, changes, documentation updates, hardware/software versions, and technical impacts.\n\nReview Engineering Change Proposals, deviations, waivers, and technical updates for impact to EWOK performance, requirements, interfaces, documentation, and sustainment.\n\nSupport interface definition and integration activities involving software, hardware, communications, data flows, operator interfaces, test infrastructure, and supporting systems.\n\nCoordinate with cybersecurity personnel to ensure EWOK‑related systems, documentation, and technical activities comply with applicable security, CUI, OPSEC, and information protection requirements.\n\nPrepare technical briefings, status updates, decision support products, and engineering summaries for Government leadership, program offices, and technical stakeholders.\n\nProvide recommendations to improve system performance, test rigor, documentation quality, integration efficiency, and lifecycle supportability.\n\nRequired Education\n\nBachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.\n\nRequired Experience\n\n7 years of professional experience in systems engineering.\n\nRelevant systems engineering or technical experience may be considered in lieu of degree depending on customer requirements.\n\nExperience supporting systems engineering activities for DoD, Navy, EW, RF, software, tactical, or mission systems.\n\nUnderstanding of systems engineering processes, including requirements management, design analysis, integration, verification, validation, test planning, and lifecycle support.\n\nAbility to develop and review technical documentation, engineering reports, test documentation, requirements artifacts, briefings, and technical recommendations.\n\nExperience working with cross‑functional technical teams, including engineers, software developers, test personnel, cybersecurity personnel, logisticians, and program managers.\n\nAbility to analyze technical data, identify risks, document findings, and provide clear engineering recommendations.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.\n\nDesired Qualifications\n\nActive Secret clearance; Top Secret/SCI eligibility preferred.\n\nExperience supporting NSWC Crane, NAVSEA, Navy, Marine Corps, or other DoD engineering programs.\n\nExperience with electronic warfare systems, RF systems, tactical systems, mission systems, software‑defined capabilities, or test infrastructure.\n\nExperience supporting threat load development, mission load development, technique evaluation, hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing, lab testing, or field test events.\n\nExperience with requirements management tools, configuration management tools, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, or similar collaboration environments.\n\nFamiliarity with interface control documentation, system architecture documentation, technical data packages, test procedures, and system design documentation.\n\nExperience supporting configuration control boards, technical reviews, test readiness reviews, engineering change reviews, or program reviews.\n\nFamiliarity with cybersecurity/RMF, CUI handling, OPSEC requirements, and secure engineering environments.\n\nAbility to work independently while coordinating across large, diverse technical teams.\n\nSecurity Clearance & Citizenship\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
