The team takes full onsite responsibility for each site and manages the end-to-end lifecycle of the hardware fleet, providing various infrastructure solutions and services that ensure scalability and reliability.\r\nAbout the Role\r\nThe team is looking for candidates with strong technical infrastructure backgrounds, passionate about engineering excellence, and providing effective and sustainable solutions with an eye to the future. You understand the challenges associated with deploying infrastructure at scale and have experience designing systems and platforms that set the global standard for performance, availability, security, and cost. The work you do will influence processes globally.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nSupport the DC Operations teams as a Subject Matter Expert and handle escalations in the area of data center critical infrastructure and other facilities within the white space.\r\nUnderstand and manage design limitations and risks of the datacenter, and regularly audit, review, and collaborate with our colo-cation partners or service providers on their maintenance program and effectiveness.\r\nManage and drive the change management process for high-risk maintenance activities in our data centers.\r\nManage incidents as the first responder onsite while getting support from SMEs of datacenter engineering and infrastructure domains.\r\nProvide onsite services to support many other initiatives and continually maintain positive and collaborative working relations with customers, partner teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders.\r\nMinimum Qualifications\r\nKnowledge of standard power and cooling calculations necessary to determine capacity requirements (i.e., TIA-942, ASHRAE).\r\nExperience with power redundancy and its implementation in design (i.e., 2N or N+1 distributed redundant).\r\nUnderstand cooling redundancy and how concurrent maintainability is implemented in design (i.e., N+1 or N+2).\r\nExperience in the following areas\r\nSupervision of the construction team to complete Data Hall build-out, including IT services coordination, power and cooling planning.\r\nInfluence the testing and commissioning team to perform L1 to L5 commissioning tests to validate the system design intent and resolve technical problems.\r\nElectrical and/or mechanical engineering experience such as generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, UPS, electrical sub-distribution systems, etc.\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nDirect experience working with GPU servers, H100, B200, GB200 etc.\r\nDiploma or professional certification in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or relevant discipline.\r\nHigh level of agility with the ability to prioritize work and stay organized in a complex, fast-paced environment with high ambiguity.\r\nVendors, projects, or program engagement experience.\r\nStrong verbal and written communication skills with attention to clarity and detail.\r\nSalary & Benefits\r\nCompetitive total compensation package (salary + equity).\r\nRetirement or pension plan, in line with local norms.\r\nHealth, dental, and vision insurance.\r\nGenerous PTO policy, in line with local norms.\r\nThe base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
