Our client, a global manufacturer, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to join their growing finance team. This is a critical role supporting the Controller across all facets of financial close, reporting, analysis, and team leadership. If you're an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and has a strong understanding of GAAP, QuickBooks, and ERP systems, we want to hear from you. This is an onsite position with some flexibility after initial training. The company offers a strong compensation and benefits package. Key Responsibilities: Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities for multiple entities Handle expense accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and intercompany reconciliations Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and support consolidated financial statements Validate revenue recognition timing with cross-functional teams Maintain revenue schedules and deferred revenue balances Review service jobs and customer prepayments for accurate reporting Oversee day-to-day accounting including AP, credit cards, payroll, and VAT compliance for global entities Maintain internal control documentation and audit trails Generate weekly/monthly reports including sales, cash collections, A/R aging, and inventory Support department P&Ls, budgeting, forecasting, and business reviews Supervise and support 2–3 accounting team members in AR and AP Delegate tasks, give performance feedback, and foster a collaborative culture Identify and implement accounting process improvements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA or CMA preferred) 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing Experience with multi-entity and international accounting preferred Supervisory experience preferred QuickBooks and ERP experience require Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling) Strong knowledge of GAAP Excellent communication and leadership abilities Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills High level of integrity and professionalism Seniority level Seniority level Associate Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Accounting/Auditing Industries Industrial Machinery Manufacturing Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions by 2x Inferred from the description for this job Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Disability insurance Get notified when a new job is posted.
