Job Description Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) who thrives in community-based work and loves helping children reach their full potential?Developmental Pathways (DP) is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) in our Early Intervention Department, who will provide therapy services in children's natural environments or via telehealth. The OT will provide skilled occupational therapy services/interventions to children ages 0-36 months with physical, neurological, genetic, cognitive, sensory, feeding, ADL, and social/emotional deficits. This role will be responsible for adhering to the EI guidelines, documentation, and funding requirements. This role will also collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) for children on their caseload.This is a community-based role, averaging 5-6 client visits per day, 40 hours per week, Monday-Thursday, with a strong focus on relationship-building and developmental support. The position primarily serves Douglas County—one day each in Parker, Castle Pines, and Castle Rock, with occasional visits to Aurora. You'll need to hold (or be willing to obtain) Colorado OT licensure.Additional ResponsibilitiesUse the Primary Service Provider Model to team with other therapeutic disciplines, service coordinators, and caregivers to develop and implement functional goals and strategies to enhance the child's developmentDevelop and implement IFSPs to meet individualized family or child outcomesMay be asked to support categorical assessments and initial Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) development for children who are categorically eligible for Early Intervention servicesAdhere to Medicaid regulations when this is a funding source (i.e. EVV)Help families determine priorities for servicePerform standardized or play-based assessments and complete all required documentation of child's progress toward IFSP goalsPerform consultative visits either alone or in consultation with other team members as appropriateDevelop and maintain working case files per department policies and proceduresSubmit billing and supporting documentation timelyAssure paperwork submitted by other service providers, individuals in service and community partners is completed, distributed, and filed as requiredPartner with service coordinators, Child Find teams, and other community partners who serve young children to deliver early intervention servicesAttend and participate in IFSP and care coordination meetings; schedules and facilitates meetings as neededMaintain EI Provider portal profileEnsure adherence to Division for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities/DIDD rules and regulations and agency policies and procedures in provision of services.
