One Mission!\r\nHow You’ll Make an Impact:\r\nThe CNC Service Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machinery while executing preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and uptime. This role supports production by maintaining electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and control systems, minimizing downtime, and driving continuous improvement across CNC equipment and shop operations.What you’ll be doing as a CNC Service Technician:\r\nWorking a full-time, onsite position at our Simi Valley, CA location.\r\nTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair CNC machine issues including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and control-related problems\r\nMaintain and repair CNC machines including mills and lathes, with familiarity in Matsuura, Mori Seiki, Haas and Fanuc-controlled equipment\r\nServe as the primary point of contact for machine malfunctions, following issues through to full resolution\r\nCoordinate with OEMs, machine tool builders, and third-party service providers when advanced support is required\r\nPerform electrical troubleshooting on CNC systems, including controls, wiring, sensors, and drives\r\nInspect, diagnose, and replace faulty components such as motors, switches, relays, and circuit boards\r\nReplace and repair hydraulic components, including identifying leaks and changing out hydraulic hoses as needed\r\nPerform ball screw replacements and alignments, including handling larger assemblies (60”+)\r\nDevelop, implement, and maintain preventative maintenance schedules within a tracking system\r\nEnsure all scheduled maintenance tasks are completed on time and properly documented\r\nChange out and monitor oils, coolants, and other machine fluids to ensure proper operation and longevity\r\nMonitor machine performance and identify opportunities for process improvement and increased reliability\r\nEnsure chip bins are emptied as required and chip areas are maintained\r\nEnsure maintenance of all machine coolant and fluid levels daily\r\nMaintain and repair facility and custodial equipment as needed\r\nOversee general facility maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, filling dispensers, and supporting facility setup needs\r\nStudy and standardize procedures to improve efficiencies and reduce machine downtime\r\nAdhere to all workplace safety guidelines, policies, and applicable regulations\r\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\r\nRequired Qualifications (Education, skills and experience):\r\nMinimum 3 years of CNC machine maintenance experience (mills and lathes) in a manufacturing or similar environment\r\nStrong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems\r\nExperience working with CNC controls, particularly Fanuc systemsPreferred Qualifications (Education, skills and experience):\r\nExperience servicing Matsuura, Mori Seiki, Haas and Fanuc-controlled equipment\r\nElectrical background with the ability to read schematics and diagnose control issues\r\nProven ability to work independently and manage maintenance priorities\r\nMotivated, dependable individual with a strong work ethic and punctuality\r\nGood verbal communication skills and ability to coordinate with internal teams and external vendors\r\nMechanically inclined with strong manual dexterity\r\nAbility to excel in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating workloads and deadlines\r\nTeam player with a proactive, problem-solving mindsetCompensation and Benefits:\r\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.\r\nChoice of medical plan options, including a no-cost employee-only coverage plan\r\nHSA-eligible health plan with employer contributions\r\nBasic and supplemental life insurance\r\nLong-term disability coverage\r\n401(k) plan with up to a 6% QACA company match\r\nPaid time off including vacation, sick time, and nine (9) paid company holidays\r\nShift differentials for applicable off-shifts\r\nDiscretionary bonus programs based on position and company performanceThe CNC Service Technician Compensation rangefor onsite California applicants is $35-$50 per hour commensurate with experience.
