JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIESUsing basic knowledge of project management fundamentals, the incumbent individually leads relatively small projects of low to medium complexity supporting Company and customer requirements. Additional functions and duties involve:Assist Project and/or /Program Managers with the daily conduct of large project/program activities involving Project tasks including:Make priority determinationsDevelop, review, and approve project documentationMaintain established project portfolioEstablish, execute and report on project budgetManage project riskMonitor/control and re-plan projectProvide project status through project/program reviewsAnnotate lessons learned and archive project dataAdminister Work Management System (WMS) activities through the use of identified scheduling toolsFollow company and Government processes and procedures as required maintaining accountability and responsibility for project schedule, budget, and requirements to deliver projects on time meeting required budgetMay be required to recruit and hire appropriate technical personnel to ensure the accomplishment of project requirementsUse established policies, procedures, and subject matter knowledge to complete assignments of medium complexity that vary in nature and sequencePerforms other related Project assignments as requested.RANGE POSITION DESCRIPTIONIndependent problem solver and great communicator that excels at baselining new systems. Must be knowledgeable in Agile methodologies to include Scrum. Must be able to work well with many different teams and entities and tie the development effort together with all stakeholders.Preferred experience includes:Requirements management experience with tools like JAMAExperience with Jira or other Agile software toolsSchedule management experience with tools like PWA and MS ProjectSystem Architecture experience and functional flow block diagram expertise with tools like Cameo Systems Modeler or other SysML products, MS Visio, MS Power Point, or AutoCAD.Must be able to identify gaps in requirements and design and notify the correct responsible personnel of those potential issues or provide implementation solutions.Must be able to allocate proper verification and validation methods to requirements and track them through analysis, inspection, demo, or testing activities.Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to adapt in a virtual environment using MS Teams.REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCEMust have a bachelor's or higher degree or any combination of formal education, training and experience equivalent to eight (8) years involvement in technically demanding program or project assignments. Must have demonstrated knowledge and skills in resource organization and allocation, planning and budgeting, configuration management, continuous quality and process improvement, setting and measurement of program goals, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. The candidate must possess a valid, state issued driver's license. Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.SALARYThe expected salary range for this position is $105,000 to $130,000 annually.Note: The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay.
