Develops test procedures and prepares test reports reflecting personal analysis of test results. Other duties may be assigned.\n\nDevelop test procedures and perform tests according to specifications and customer requirements.\nOrganize and prepare test reports and reviews test data.\nEvaluate mechanical and electrical requirements, design and customer specifications and other data necessary to establish criteria for the development of tests within the overall capability of existing facilities and technology.\nConsult with supervisor concerning schedules and workload and maintains communication with assigned group to assure positive direction and control.\nPrepare reports for supervisor pertaining to progress, schedules, workload and proposed improvements or recommendations.\nOperate all types of mechanical and electronic test equipment and instrumentation to perform tasks.\nDesign test fixtures and electrical devices required for tests.\nWrite programs for performing tests and analysis of test data collected.\nPrepare pricing quotes and proposals (performs specification reviews and failure analysis as required).\nMaintain and manage test equipment and test schedule.\nLead the troubleshooting effort to resolve test discrepancies.\nDevelop test procedures and prepare test reports reflecting personal analysis of test results.\nSupport other areas as need.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\n\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
