MIG Welder
MIG WelderJoin a dynamic team that builds and installs custom dust collection and ventilation systems for heavy manufacturing companies. This role involves performing MIG welding on thin gauge materials, including carbon steel and possibly stainless steel, utilizing your experience in reading prints, layout, tacking, and welding seams. You will also assist fabricators and operate various sheet metal fabrication equipment.Weekly Pay and Immediate Interviews available!ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG welding on custom parts and thin gauge materials.Read and interpret blueprints and perform layout, tacking, and welding seams.Assist fabricators and operate shears, press brakes, grinders, rollers, saws, and other sheet metal fabrication equipment.Work with customized 16 to 14 gauge sheet metal and duct work.Maintain precision with tape measure ability and blueprint experience.Adapt to various product requirements in a job shop environment.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2 years of welding experience in a custom environment.Experience with thin gauge metal fabricating.Ability to read blueprints and use tape measures.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency with press operators, plasma cutters, drills, saws, and other metal fabrication tools.Prior MIG welding ability.Open to candidates with limited experience but have weld training (1-2 years).Why Work Here?Become part of a very driven company that embraces a small company mentality where teamwork is essential.
