The Information Technology Directorate (ITD) supports the NCIS core mission areas to investigate and defeat criminal, terrorist, and foreign intelligence threats by planning for and providing services through appropriate use of the people, equipment, technology, and infrastructure resources of the United States (U.S.) Navy and Marine Corps.\n\nPosition Summary:\nAs a System Integrator you will be responsible for providing a total systems perspective to include a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements of hardware and software components. You will work with engineers, systems analysts, programmers, and technicians in the design, testing, and evaluation of systems\n\nClearance Requirements:\nMust have an active Top/SCI Secret Clearance\n\nEssential Functions and Responsibilities:\nMonitor and analyze equipment and network performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made.\nMaintain logs related to network functions, as well as maintenance and repair records.\n\nRequired Education, Skills, and Experience:\nMinimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in deploying enterprise applications.\nMeet the requirements of an ITA II per the DoD 8570.01-M, requires minimum of Security Plus certification (Security+) or equivalent.\nKnowledge of virtualization concepts and techniques, clustering, middleware, etc.\nKnowledge of some of the following: Red Hat, Solaris, Windows Server, Apache (Tomcat, Maven, Ant), VMware, and a variety of system level applications.\n\nPhysical Demands and Expectations:\nTravel will be required to support this task (up to 25% travel)\nRegular physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting (up to 30 pounds), and standing; occasional prolonged sitting\nAbility to speak, read, hear and write, with or without assistance\nAbility to use phone and computer systems, copier, fax and other office equipment\n\nThis position description re present s a summary of the major components and requirements of the outlined job.
