ENPOINTE’s extensive expertise spans design, variable digital print, high-end printing, large format, finishing, mailing, kitting, distribution, and technology-driven customer solutions.\n\nPosition Summary\nThis 2nd shift Operator position is responsible for overall performance of the Press, to include, performing various tasks to setup, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, efficiency, quality and perform maintenance on the HP-T240.\n\nResponsibilities\nRead and understand job tickets.\nLoad files on and off the DFE.\nSetup all machine operation information correctly according to job ticket before beginning job.\nObserve and monitor machine operations to determine whether adjustments are needed.\nCorrectly calibrate press to acceptable color.\nLearn and be able to operator the Hunkeler Gen 8 finishing system and run proficiently.\nWork with clients in a positive and professional manner.\nCommunicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials.\nTroubleshoot machine problems to determine actual faults.\nMaintain machine run speed standards and material usage waste standards.\nStrictly adhere to client job specifications and ensure good quality work.\nResponsible for passing off all pertinent information to fellow operators.\nCommunicate to VP of Operations regularly, keeping them updated on production activities and progress, including equipment performance.\nOpen service calls with HP when needed.\nClean up machine parts after every work procedure.\nTeach, coach and cross train with fellow helpers/sorters.\nLoad and unload paper rolls on and off the equipment in a safe manner.\nResponsible for performing maintenance to HP specifications.\nMaintain coater systems on the HP.\nFollow process control and quality control procedures.\nPractice all safe work habits. Understand and follow company and industry safety rules. Wear appropriate safety equipment. Report any unsafe equipment or conditions to your supervisor.\nSuggest improvements in work practices.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nFinishing Machine Operator experience.\nProblem solving and trouble shooting skills.\nAttention to detail and an eye for quality.\nSense of responsibility.\nMust be independent and self-motivated and needs minimum supervision.\nNeeds a mechanically and technically sound individual comfortable with computers and transferring/set up of files.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment\nKnowledge of Production Procedures\nAbility to Read and understand job tickets\nAnalytical Skills\nAttention to Detail\nTeamwork\nMultitask\nPhysical Requirements\nConstant standing, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting (50lbs max), and repetitive motions.\nFrequent walking, stooping, crouching, fingering, and grasping.\nOccasional sitting, balancing, and kneeling.\nBenefits\nMedical Insurance\nDental Insurance\nVision Insurance\nLife Insurance\nPaid Time Off\nPaid Holidays\n401(k)\nSalary\n$22.00-$27.00 per hour depending on experience.\n\nENPOINTE is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
