This role is ideal for experienced tradesmen looking to put their skills to work indoors in a temperature-controlled facility year-round. No weather delays, no extreme heat or cold, just steady work in a clean, controlled shop environment. You’ll be working hands-on across multiple trades within modular home construction and will be relied on to jump in where production is lagging. The work includes HVAC, plumbing, electrical, flooring, wall set, interior finishes, trim and rough carpentry, roofing, and siding. If a line needs help catching up, you’re the one they call. Experience with modular builds and unit wrapping is a strong plus. Responsibilities Perform hands-on work across multiple trades within modular home construction Step in to support production lines that are behind schedule and help bring them back on track Install, repair, and assist with HVAC systems as needed during the build process Perform plumbing rough-in and finish work according to plans and specs Assist with electrical rough-in, trim, and component installation Complete flooring installation, wall set, and interior finish work Perform rough and finish carpentry, including trim and framing tasks Assist with roofing and siding installation within the modular build process Support modular unit wrapping and preparation for transport when required Ensure work area is clean and organized at the start and end of each shift. Check all tools and materials for safety hazards prior to use. Operate and control hand tools (tape measure, hammer, screwdrivers, utility knife, etc.) and pneumatic tools and equipment (nail guns, screw guns, sprayers etc.) Follow all compliance and all safety guidelines and procedures. Must have reliable transportation and stellar attendance with the ability to work overtime when required to meet project deadlines. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Two (2) years of experience in residential or commercial construction. Broad knowledge of basic construction trades and finishing work. Experience with reading and understanding blueprints and technical documents (preferred). Basic knowledge of safety protocols and OSHA regulations. Skills and Abilities: Ability to stay focused with many interruptions Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Self-starter with the ability to work with limited supervision. Excellent communication with a high level of organization and a strong attention to detail are essential. Skilled at cross-functional collaboration and building rapport with peers. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks. Ability to work on-site during regular business hours of 6am-2:30pm M-F Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, and kneel. Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and handling materials. Must be able to lift and carry 50Ibs. Moderately loud noise level. Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces.
