Quarry Worker

The roleAdbri currently has an opportunity for a Quarry Worker to join the team in a full-time permanent role, operating a variety of mobile and fixed plant including loaders, excavators, dozers, dump trucks, water cart, service/fuel truck, and fixed and mobile crushing and screening plants.This role involves day or afternoon shift work Monday to Friday with rostered Saturdays as required, within a friendly and supportive team where safety, flexibility and pride in doing a good job are valued.This role is located at our Penrose Quarry, NSW.ResponsibilitiesEnsure safety, health and environmental standards are maintained.Operate mobile plant and equipment.Undertake housekeeping and basic maintenanceOccasional manual handling and general labouringWhat you will need to succeedCurrent RII/VOC competencies preferred.Understanding of crushing and screening operationsCurrent drivers' licenceDemonstrated experience operating mobile plant and equipment in a quarry or mineStrong mechanical aptitudeStrong commitment to health and safety and teamworkBenefits of working with usCompetitive pay based on experienceSecure, long-term employmentWell-maintained equipment and strong safety cultureTraining and development opportunitiesOur businessAdbri is a leading supplier of premixed concrete, aggregates, and sands to the commercial, industrial, civil and residential construction sectors.
