Itoffers a unique opportunity to work on diverse forensic engineering projects involving construction defect analysis and structural reconstruction across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.\nIf youare a self-motivated professional whothrivesin a client-facing environment that demands rigorous investigative techniques,attention to detail,effective project management, andstrong communicationskills–this is the role for you.\nApplications accepted on an ongoing basis.\nRequirements Key Responsibilities\n\nConduct inspections of various structure types including residential, commercial, industrial buildings, bridges, and parking garages.Must be comfortable on ladders, scaffolding, lifts,as well as in crawlspaces.\nPrepare detailed inspection and design reports for clients, including potentiallegallitigation use.\nPerform failure analysis and design repairs, restorations, or retrofits to ensure structural safety and functionality.\nEnsure compliance with building codes and stay current with industry standards,emerging trendsand knowledge of wind and seismic loads.\nDevelopscopes of work and budgets forprojectproposals.\nCollaborate with SeniorEngineering Expertsto prepare exhibits, documents, andreportsfor depositions and trials.\nWillingness to learnnew skills,technologies,adapt, evolve, and expand professional and engineeringexpertise.\nSelf-motivatedprofessionalwhoexhibitsstrong interpersonal skillscapable of fosteringa growing clientele in arapidly growing and dynamic market.\nQualifications\n\nMinimum 2years of experience in structural engineeringdesign, preferably in forensic or investigative contexts.\nE.I.T.certification required.\nExperiencewithconstructionmanagement, project management, or structural designpreferred.\nMust be a resident of the Austin, Texas area (local candidates only).\nBachelor’s degree inCivilor Structural Engineeringrequired.\nProficiencywithAutodesk computer aided design software,Microsoft Office Suite,emphasis on MS Teamsand SharePoint.\nAbility towork remotely andmanage multiple projects simultaneously.\nClean driving recordwith a valid U.S.Driver’sLicense, and reliable personal vehicle for transportation. Regular regional travel isrequired.\nStrong verbal communication and technical writing skillsare essential to this role.\nSalary : $80,000–$95,000 (commensuratewith experience and qualifications)\nSchedule : Full-time, Monday–Friday,7:30 AM–4:30 PM\nWork Setting :Hybrid—up to 60% remote/home office, 40% field inspections/site visits.
