Part Time HR Clerk/Receptionist

Job SummaryThe HR Clerk provides essential administrative support to the Human Resources department, focusing on maintaining personnel records, processing paperwork, assisting with recruitment (scheduling interviews, posting ads), and serving as a receptionist as needed.ResponsibilitiesWhen assigned to HR:Process paperwork and update data bases for employee training records and the like, including scanningProvide Recruitment Assistance such as posting job openings and scheduling interviews.Assist with the processing of new volunteers and for providing ongoing support as neededOther duties as assignedWhen assigned to reception area:Greet visitors in a courteous and professional manner. Serve as an outstanding ambassador of the Els Center of ExcellenceInform staff when visitor/client/appointment has arrived at the reception areaAnswer, screen and direct incoming calls, including calls from volunteers, corporations, food and financial donors, partner agencies, people in need of resources, families, individuals seeking information about the programs and services Accept deliveries and informs staff member to pick up their item; sort and deliver mailEnsure all visitors have been Checked in appropriately and are wearing a visitor's badgeOversee general appearance of the front reception and public areas.Perform other general administrative duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School diploma or GEDMinimum of two years professional experience with HR type duties including office administrationHigh level of discretion and integrityHighly organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities and to work independently under minimal supervisionExcellent communication skills - written, verbal and active listeningStrong interpersonal skillsGood documentation abilities and detail orientationDisplays outstanding customer service and ability to teamExperience with Windows-based computer applications and data base management Knowledge of Paylocity HRIS is a plusWorking Hours and ConditionsWork hours are Monday-Thursday 9 AM-5 PMTypical office environmentAbility to multi-task and focus Els for Autism is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to fostering a safe and inclusive workplace, where diversity is valued in all individuals, regardless of background, identity or ability.
