You'll help swimmers of all ages develop water safety skills, build confidence, and achieve important milestones while creating a positive experience for families.No swim teaching experience is required. We provide comprehensive training and ongoing support for the right candidates.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver safe, engaging swim lessons following British Swim School curriculum and safety standardsCreate a positive, encouraging learning environment for swimmers and familiesProvide exceptional customer service and professional communicationParticipate in training and follow all operational and safety proceduresQualificationsHigh school diploma (or currently working toward completion)Comfortable in and around the water; strong swimming skills are helpful but can be developed through trainingStrong communication and customer service skillsDependable, professional, and willing to learnAbility to complete required training, certifications, and testingPreferred ExperienceExperience working with children, coaching, teaching, childcare, hospitality, customer service, or related fieldsLifeguard, CPR, First Aid, and/or AED certifications are a plusWho We're Looking ForOur best instructors are positive, reliable, coachable, and genuinely enjoy helping others succeed. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team, even if you're not in the pool. These are the people committed to providing the best service in the industry. In these roles, you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool. Wherever you are, the aim is to make everyone feel like part of the British Swim School Family as we focus on ensuring the “Survival of the Littlest.”Each franchise location is independently owned and operated by a franchisee (franchise owner).
