The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving packaging solutions that enhance product protection, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness. This role requires a strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering principles to create efficient packaging systems that meet both customer and regulatory requirements.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign and develop packaging solutions for a variety of products including bottles, jars, tubes, and other containers.\nAnalyze packaging requirements based on customer needs and product specifications.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including production, marketing, and quality assurance to align packaging designs with product specifications.\nCollaborate with vendors and suppliers to source appropriate materials.\nWork closely with production and supply chain teams to optimize packaging processes and reduce costs.\nConduct root cause analysis to identify packaging failures or inefficiencies and implement corrective actions ensuring that packaging materials comply with regulatory and environmental standards.\nOversee the implementation of new packaging technologies such as robotics and vision inspection systems.\nFabricate prototypes and conduct testing on various packaging materials, including plastics injection molding.\nProvide technical support and troubleshooting for packaging-related issues.\nEnsure that packaging meets product protection, quality, and cost requirements.\nMaintain documentation related to packaging specifications, testing results, and compliance with industry standards.\nSkills and Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. (REQUIRED)\n4+ years of experience in packaging engineering (REQUIRED).\nExperience with primary packaging for cosmetics, personal care, or related industries preferred.\nProficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools is a plus.\nStrong knowledge of packaging materials, processes, and equipment.\nFamiliarity with regulatory standards and environmental requirements for packaging.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and project management abilities.\nKnowledge of plastics injection molding processes and materials.\nAbility to fabricate prototypes using various materials and techniques.\nExperience with vision inspection systems to ensure quality control in packaging.\nJoin us in creating innovative packaging solutions that not only protect our products but also contribute to sustainability efforts within the industry.
