{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"b81dde7549cc9da55e7bded5","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/b81dde7549cc9da55e7bded5","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/b81dde7549cc9da55e7bded5","title":"Desktop Engineer","description":"Job Title: IT Desktop Support Engineer\nReports To: Information Systems Director\nPOSITION SUMMARY:\nResponsible for the life-cycle management for all IS/IT assets including configuration management, change management and release management activities for devices, users, software, and licensing.\nJOB REQUIREMENTS (not an all-inclusive list):\nIS asset management and tracking\nResponsible for the tracking of all network connected devices (PCs, Laptops, Mobile Devices, Phones, Printers, Plotters, etc…) regarding the following:\nUser assigned to\nHealth/Status of the device\nAge of the device and software versioning for updating/upgrading (as required)\nLease agreements and service contracts for the devices as it applies\nManagement of the service provider accounts\nProcurement and administering a running inventory for user replacements and end-user growth\nAll mobile devices through our cellular carrier\nAll purchased or leased personal computing equipment and applicable accessories\nProcurement and management of software licenses and subscriptions\nIS Software and Hardware support person for on-premises required items:\nSupport for basic technical issues on computers, laptops, mobile devices.\nFunctional knowledge in Windows based environments (in particular Windows 7/8/10).\nExperience in (re-)installation of most desktop related software in corporate networked environments.\nSupport mobile devices and the company required software for these devices (e.g. iPad, Tablets, JetPacks, iPhones, and Android Phones).\nAssist users on end-user network devices (Printers, Plotters, TV displays, etc…).\nInternal point of contact for service desk communications\nManage relationships and communications between Pueblo and internal IS department and 3rd party managed solution providers where Service Desk is concerned\nMonitor and follow-up support with all service desk tickets (internal and managed by MSP)\nManage small to large sized acquisition user deployments with regards to hardware, software, licensing, cellular devices, and user accounts\nRequired Skills, Qualifications, and Traits:\nEffective communicator [internal & external customers and vendors]\nAbility to communicate the technical details effectively to a non-technical audience\nStrong customer service skills and ability to work in a dynamic team environment\nSelf-starter with high energy level and positive attitude\nAbility to adapt and thrive in rapidly changing environment with multiple deadlines\nStrong problem solving skills\nUnderstands Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office products beyond a basic capacity\nAbility to design, implement, document, train, and administer organizational processes\nDesired Skills and Experience:\nMicrosoft Windows 10 and Active Directory [ with Azure AD hybrid] environments\nMicrosoft Group Policy configurations and management\nMicrosoft SCCM administration and configuration\nMicrosoft ATP, EMS, InTune [particularly in hybrid environments with SCCM]\nMicrosoft 365 Enterprise environments, licensing, and management\nExperience in hardware (Intel x64 based) support and upgrades\nProject management in deployments to small to large groups of users for both software and hardware\nJob Type: Full-time\nPay: $60,000.00 -
