{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"b812b970d29e61894d64da0f","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/b812b970d29e61894d64da0f","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/b812b970d29e61894d64da0f","title":"Process Technician","description":"Shift: Monday through Thursday 3:30am to 4pm\n\nPosition Purpose\nResponsible for injection mold changes, startup of new jobs, troubleshooting and resolving process problems, and optimizing machine cycles.\nEssential Duties and responsibilities\nPerforms the startup and processing of jobs.\nAccountable for pulling and setting molds.\nVerify process parameters for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances and maintain equipment to established criteria.\nProcess, troubleshoot and remedy solutions that do not meet specifications, non-conformities, and material issues.\nResponsible for ensuring that the end of run process clearances have correctly taken place\nRobot set up (at certain locations).\nVerify machines are operating according to standard cycles, allowable scrap, work instructions and quality plan.\nEnsure proper housekeeping.\nResponsible for following all established Vaupell policies, standard operating procedures and safety practices.\nOther duties as assigned.\nJob Qualifications/Requirements\nHigh School Diploma/general education degree (GED)\n3 years plastic injection process technician experience or RJG Master Molder Certificate.\nRead and interpret documents, i.e. blueprints, drawings, operating instructions, workorders, and procedural manuals.\nForklift and crane experience preferred and/or able to obtain certifications within 30-days.\nMath comprehension to add, subtract and multiply and divide whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.\nAbility to read, speak, understand and follow instructions in English.\nMust be able to wear and properly use the required personal protective equipment.\nCandidates must be a “US Person” (i.e. US Citizen or Permanent Resident) to ensure Vaupell's compliance with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and EAR (Export Administration Regulations)\nEnvironmental Condition\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and vibrations. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to occasionally loud.
