MRI / CT Tech Aide | Denver Metropolitan Area, COReporting to Regional Manager of Clinical OperationsEmployment Type: Full Time.Due to the travel expectations of this role throughout the South Denver Metro Area, an additional Float Differential of $3.00 per hour is paid in addition to base wages.EMTs are highly encouraged to apply!Invision Sally Jobe (ISJ) is a network of imaging centers built and managed through a partnership between Radiology Imaging Associates and HealthOne. Our imaging centers are conveniently located throughout the South Denver area and offer a variety of exams using state of the art equipment. Our services include MRI, CT, digital mammography, ultrasound, pain management, DXA, X-Ray, and image guided biopsies. Our mission is to improve the health of patients in the communities we serve by proving them with the highest quality imaging and associated medical care.Primary Responsibilities:During a typical day you will...Work closely with technologists and anticipate needs to assist with patient flowScreen patients and provide changing instructionsPrep exams rooms for type of exam being performed to include cleaning and stocking exam roomsExplain exam process and contrast to patients and help with positioning patients on exam tablesStart IVs for patients following sterile protocolsAssist front end staff to cover for lunches and/or short staffingHelp technologists with 24/48 order checking and contact referring office for information or changesAll other duties as assignedRequirements:Minimum of 2 years' experience in a clinical environment preferredPrevious work experience as an EMT strongly preferredMust be able to lift 50lbsBLS certification and ability to become MRI safety certifiedExceptional customer service skillsExemplary verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and minimal supervisionAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to read, write, and speak in EnglishCompensation is between $20.00 and $26 hourly based on experienceIn accordance with Colorado law, the range provided is Invision Sally Jobe's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role, and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
