We are interested in what you have actually worked on, how you approached it, and how you communicated the results.\n\nWhat You Will Do\n\nConfigure, install, integrate, test, troubleshoot, maintain, and support project systems.\nWork hands-on with servers, switches, workstations, monitors, networking components, and related hardware.\nAnalyze, review, and interpret project requirements, schematics, CAD drawings, blueprints, technical reports, and other project documentation.\nRun and evaluate system tests and reports, document results, and communicate clearly with teammates and customers.\nPrepare and lead status updates while learning and following established project reporting practices.\nCreate clear technical documentation, including procedures, work instructions, test records, operating information, project submittals, and customer correspondence.\nSupport installation and service work in industrial customer environments.\nTrack work accurately, own assigned deliverables, and help projects stay on schedule.\nTravel to customer sites when projects require it, sometimes for extended assignments or nonstandard work hours.\nRequirements:\n\nRequirements for Successful Candidates\n\nCandidates with an associate degree in engineering, computer technology, information technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.\nRecent college graduates who have meaningful hands-on experience through internships, co-ops, project work, labs, military service, skilled trades, or employment while in school.\nInformation technology professionals or candidates from another technical field who want to move into hands-on project engineering and can demonstrate relevant hardware, networking, troubleshooting, documentation, project, and field-work experience.\nExcellent written communication skills for daily status reports, emails, etc.\nProfessional, positive attitude willing and able to own your work and assignments while working as a collaborative team.\n\nThe Work Environment and Schedule\n\nThis role is active and hands-on. Before applying, please make sure the following work conditions fit what you are looking for:\n\nOccasional lifting and carrying of approximately 25 to 50 pounds.\nClimbing ladders and moving through project and customer work areas.\nBending, crouching, reaching, and working in tight or confined spaces.\nWorking in industrial environments that may be hot, cold, dirty, dusty, or loud for extended periods.\nWearing required personal protective equipment and following customer-site safety requirements.\nWorking a schedule that may be a standard daytime shift or a project-based shift such as 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.\nProviding periodic after-hours service support from home or onsite.
