Technical areas of instruction include Information Systems, Information Technology (Network+, Security+), Information Assurance, Satellite, Radio, Power, Switchboard, Mobile Communications Vehicles, TACS, WHTV, and Audiovisual systems. Leadership instruction covers Presidential, Vice Presidential, and First Lady Communications Officers, Military Aides, and Operations personnel. The instructor will integrate government-defined academic competencies and occupational skills into all curriculum, recommend and apply revisions to Government-owned course content, and adapt delivery methods, including Inquiry Based Learning (IBL), to accommodate diverse learning styles.\r\nKey Day-to-Day Responsibilities\r\nCourse Scheduling & Preparation\r\nDevelop quarterly course schedules with the WTA Superintendent and publish those schedules within TEAMS/LMS.\r\nDevelop methods of presentation, learning activities, and student assessment tools based on the established curriculum frameworks.\r\nDevelop syllabus and matching online course pages such as SharePoint/Confluence pages to enhance student learning. Discuss organizational needs for additional learning outcomes with the WTA Superintendent prior to each class. Review organizational needs and learners' backgrounds relative to course objectives prior to each course.\r\nAssess learner's current skill level and compare results with course prerequisites where applicable. Modify learning materials to meet specific needs the of organization, learner, situation, or delivery tools without compromising original course design.\r\nAdapt recommended physical or virtual classroom set-up according to specific learner and organizational needs.
