This internal customer service-focused position often supports purchasing, inventory transfers, and material maintenance in our system. The range of duties can also include communication on backorders and material ETAs to stakeholders; completion and filing of official documentation; and cleanliness and upkeep of the warehouse environment.\r\nResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities stated below are subject to established policies.\r\nUnloads and loads trucks of palletized and non-palletized product\r\nOperates forklift to properly store merchandise and materials\r\nStocks shelves and supply room(s)\r\nPicks, packs, and ships daily supply and part orders\r\nPicks, prepares, and occasionally assembles new equipment\r\nFills out bills of lading and paperwork for inbound and outbound shipments\r\nTracks incoming and outgoing stock\r\nAssists in inventory cycle counting\r\nMaintains overall warehouse organization and cleanliness\r\nAssists on deliveries and in the field with installs and related equipment movements as needed\r\nAssists with daily trash and recycling management\r\nOther duties as assigned\r\nQualificationsMust have:\r\nHigh school diploma or equivalent education\r\nValid driver's license and clean record\r\nIndividual should be physically fit and be able to lift object weighing up to 50 pounds on occasion as well as walk and remain standing for long periods of time\r\nAbility to drive 15-foot box truck\r\nComfort with computers, as you will be expected to use our SAP system to properly manage inventory and transact system movements along with managing certain reports in the system\r\nFamiliarity with warehouse equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks and lift gates\r\nWould be nice to have, but not required:\r\nPrevious experience in a warehouse environment a plus\r\nForklift experience a plus\r\nProficient Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. skills preferred\r\nSharp Business Systems (SBS) is a direct sales division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, the U.S. based subsidiary of Japan's Sharp Corporation.
