Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus availableOpportunity:/nUltrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech/n/nJob Details:/n• Perform a variety of technical procedures utilizing diagnostic ultrasound equipment/n• Position, transfer, and immobilize patients as necessary to perform diagnostic procedures/n• Adjust machinery and ancillary equipment parameters in accordance with prescribed procedures to obtain diagnostic medical/legal ultrasound images/n• Assist in equipment calibration to maintain department standards/n• Understand and perform high level probe disinfection/n• Schedule exams and maintain department records/n• Assist in quality control programs for the maintenance of prescribed standards/n• Exercise independent judgment in planning sequence of operations and making minor decisions/n• Work directly with patients, customers, healthcare professionals, and staff/n• Available for emergency call back/n• Must have minimum 2 years' experience in vascular and general ultrasound/n• Required certifications: ARDMS or ARRT (S) registry, BLS, Vascular Registry/n• Required education: Completion of an accredited Technical Ultrasound Program/n• Must demonstrate ability to perform basic ultrasound echo and/or peripheral vascular studies/n• Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills required/n• Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner/n/nFacility:/nThis hospital campus provides comprehensive diagnostic imaging services with state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment and technology.
