All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the Saracen Casino Resort policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.\r\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES\r\nTakes drink orders, communicates with bartender, assists in the preparation of drinks and presents drinks to guests\r\nMaintains clean and stocked workstation\r\nHandles money according to procedure\r\nMonitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelines\r\nServes as ambassador of goodwill while working and at customer and public relations functions; appears in publicity photos\r\nPromotes casino events and programs\r\nWorks closely with others, especially beverage servers, bartenders, bar helpers, beverage supervisor, and slots supervisor\r\nProvides personalized service and uses guest names\r\nResolves service problems according to guidelines\r\nTakes food orders when working in the pub & poker room and delivers to guests\r\nProvides exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times. Maintains a professional work environment with supervisors and staff.\r\nMeets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.\r\nAttend all necessary training meetings.\r\nAssist in other projects, as directed.\r\nDuties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.\r\nMust be 18 years of age\r\nCount money and change correctly\r\nKnow tray service, cocktail ingredients\r\nAvailable to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed\r\nMust present a well-groomed and professional appearance.\r\nMust be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.\r\nAbility to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.\r\nMust have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.\r\nMust have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.\r\nMust be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.\r\nWork nights, weekends and holidays as required.\r\nEmployment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of background investigation and drug screening\r\nPHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS\r\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
