We support organizations in navigating the complex cybersecurity landscape, ensuring they achieve and maintain compliance while managing risks effectively.\nPosition Summary:\nThe Proposal Writer will be part of a team that is responsible for responding to requests for proposals (RFPs) and related documents such as; Requests for information (RFIs), sources sought notifications (SSNs), and helping to maintain proposal templates, including methodologies, case studies, and resumes. (RFPs will be identified and assigned by the Proposal Manager.)\nRequired Experience:\n1-5 years’ experience in proposal writing\nBachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or Journalism, or equivalent experience\nExceptional written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to:\nTake ownership of the proposal writing process\nEnsure output is compelling and provides a consistent message\nUnderstand complex RFP requirements and ensure they are addressed\nWork under pressure, multi-task, and meet deadlines\nLearn quickly and understand current/new tools\nWork autonomously and as part of a team\nHigh degree of:\nFlexibility and the ability to work in a small, fast-paced environment\nOrganization and attention to detail\nExcellent time management skills\nRoles & Responsibilities:\nRead/parse RFPs, develop requirements matrices, and conduct research on requesting organizations\nCreate clean, compelling proposals, statements of work, and RFI/SSN responses\nTake ownership of delegated RFPs throughout the proposal development/delivery lifecycle\nHelp maintain/improve/develop proposal templates\nResearch and understand current and new service offerings\nEnsure consistency in tone, voice, company mission, and brand\nCollaborate with graphic designers to identify opportunities for compelling graphics\nCoordinate with subject matter experts to obtain technical content\nCommunicate effectively, efficiently, often\nPreferred & Prioritized:\nExperience writing proposals:\nIn a cybersecurity environment or other technical field of focus\nFor public sector (SLED/Fed) clients\nStrong knowledge of Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms)\nFamiliarity with Asana and EOS concepts\nAPMP and/or Shipley certification/training\nBenefits:\nBased on location, benefits may include:\nMedical and Vision Insurance\nDental Insurance\nUnlimited PTO\n401(k)\nTuition Reimbursement\nPaid Parental Leave\n& More!\nOur commitment to equity, equal opportunity, inclusion, and diversity is part of our broader commitment to respecting fundamental human rights across our value chain.
