By overseeing a team of buyers, managing supplier relationships, and driving procurement performance, you will help maintain an efficient and reliable supply chain that supports operational success, business growth, and customer satisfaction.\n\nWhat you’ll be doing as a Procurement Manager:\nWorking a full-time, onsite position at our Fife, WA or Sumner, WA location.\nSupervising and developing a team of buyers supporting two aerospace manufacturing facilities.\nProviding leadership, coaching, training, and performance management to ensure purchasing objectives are achieved.\nManaging daily procurement activities across multiple spend categories including raw materials, assembly hardware, outside processing, tooling, consumables, and indirect purchases.\nMonitoring and improving supplier performance related to quality, delivery, responsiveness, and cost competitiveness.\nCollaborating with Production Planning, Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure material availability supports production schedules and customer delivery requirements.\nReviewing and approving purchase orders, supplier selections, and procurement strategies in accordance with company policies.\nLeading supplier negotiations to secure favorable pricing, lead times, terms, and service agreements.\nDeveloping and maintaining strategic supplier relationships to mitigate supply chain risks and support business growth.\nMonitoring inventory levels and purchasing activities to optimize inventory investment while maintaining operational continuity.\nAnalyzing procurement data, supplier metrics, and market trends to identify cost savings and process improvement opportunities.\nSupporting new product introductions, customer requirements, and operational initiatives through effective supply chain planning and execution.\nEnsuring compliance with aerospace industry requirements, customer specifications, company procedures, and applicable regulatory standards.\nDriving continuous improvement initiatives within procurement processes, systems, and supplier management practices.\nAssisting with audits, corrective actions, and supplier quality improvement activities as needed.\nCollaborating with leadership to establish departmental goals, KPIs, and performance metrics.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications (Education, skills and experience):\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.\n5+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.\n2+ years of experience leading or supervising purchasing personnel.\nExperience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications.\nStrong negotiation, supplier management, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to effectively communicate and collaborate across departments.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nPreferred Qualifications (Education, skills and experience):\nExperience in aerospace, CNC machining, or precision manufacturing.\nExperience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations.\nKnowledge of AS9100 or other regulated manufacturing environments.\nProfessional certification such as CPSM, CPIM, or CSCP.\nExperience with strategic sourcing, supplier development, and cost reduction initiatives.\nCompensation and Benefits:\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.\nChoice of medical plan options, including a no-cost employee-only coverage plan\nHSA-eligible health plan with employer contributions\nBasic and supplemental life insurance\nLong-term disability coverage\n401(k) plan with up to a 6% QACA company match\nPaid time off including vacation, sick time, and nine (9) paid company holidays\nShift differentials for applicable off-shifts\nDiscretionary bonus programs based on position and company performance\n\nThe Procurement Manager Compensation range for onsite Washington applicants is $100,000 – $125,000 annually commensurate with experience.
