The management of the S&R office staff is also a part of the responsibility.\nEssential Functions\nOversees the scheduling of daily shipments and inbound shipment\nPlans the scheduled day for warehouse activities.\nMaintains warehouse organization.\nMaintains a safe working environment in the warehouse\nMaintains warehouse housekeeping\nReports any potential issues with on-time delivery\nPerforms physical inventories as needed.\nOrders all supplies not related to maintenance as needed.\nKeeps control of raw material inventory levels.\nRecords resin adjustments weekly\nOversees and maintains office functions like accounts payable and scheduling.\nKeeps office running smoothly\nReports accounting issues as needed\nSupervisory Requirements\nThis position does have supervisory requirements. All warehouse personnel report to this position.\nEducation/Experience Requirements\nA minimum of 4 years warehouse management experience or 4 years supervisory and 2 years management experience is required. A college degree is strongly recommended as well as experience in business management, purchasing, and warehouse management.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nMust be detail-oriented\nMust have organizational skills\nMust have good communication skills\nMust be able to plan a course of action with many variables.\nMust be forward-looking\nNeeds to be able to plan orders months in advance using historical data\nProblem-solving skills\nPhysical Demands\nNone are required\nWork Environment\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles released by the forklift. Some raw materials in the warehouse are listed as mildly hazardous. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
