Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and personable Budtender to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cannabis products, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to educate customers about our offerings. This role involves assisting customers in selecting products, managing sales transactions, and ensuring a welcoming shopping environment by maintaining cleanliness. Bilingual abilities and prior retail experience are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and support diverse clientele. Duties Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with product selections. Educate customers on various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories. Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing. Conduct product demos when appropriate to inform customers about new or featured items. Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability. Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment and inventory checks. Upsell products to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction. Enforce store policies regarding age restrictions and product safety guidelines. Handle cashiering duties with accuracy and professionalism, including basic math calculations for transactions. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to health and safety standards. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations. Experience Previous experience in retail sales, preferably within a grocery store or similar environment involving customer interaction. Maintaining cleanliness throughout the store to ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for customers and staff. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math is essential. Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and the ability to engage with diverse customers. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a broader customer base effectively. Experience in merchandising, stocking, and product demos will be advantageous. Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn about the industry/products is preferred.
