Mid/Senior Level Cost Analyst

OverviewWe are seeking highly motivated individuals with a strong work ethic to support Department of Defense (DoD) programs and projects. The position requires over 3 years of experience in cost analysis/cost estimating. Successful candidates will have excellent communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills in addition to the following skills/experience.ResponsibilitiesConduct EVM and/or cost data analyses and develop cost estimates for Life Cycle Cost Estimates, Program Office budgets, Contract Proposals, and other cost products as requestedConduct monthly/quarterly analysis on cost-related CDRLs submitted by industry partnersProvide analytical support for program controls and reporting, and financial execution and budgetsCoordinate and defend results with and across other organizations and contractors Skills RequiredBachelors Degree required, preferably in mathematics, statistics, engineering, economics, or businessProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint)Proficiency in cost estimating software (e.g. ACEIT, Crystal Ball)Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, regulations, and best practices pertaining to cost estimating and/or Earned Value Management (EVM) for fixed-wing aircraft Major Defense Acquisition Programs (MDAPs)Life cycle cost estimate development, risk/uncertainty analysis, and model documentationCost and Software Data Reporting (CSDR) and Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report (IPMDAR) contract requirements development and data analysisWork Breakdown Structure (WBS) development with MIL-STD-881 background for fixed-wing aircraft systemsExperience with proposal analysis and preparing EVM and/or cost-related Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs)DoD Secret ClearanceEducation
