The ACD will be responsible for negotiation of main contract agreements and all attendant contractual instruments to facilitate the sale and use of Gartner Business and Technology Insights products as well as Consulting Services. The ACD will also answer internal sales general contracting questions to include providing assistance to internal pricing and proposal support resources for the North America Public Sector Team. The ACD will report directly to the Director, Legal Counsel and assist with supporting the North America Public Sector Team efforts in the U.S. and Canadian State & Local Public sector market(s).\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nRead, analyze, assess and communicate guidance on RFQs/RFPs, Commercial Non-Disclosure Agreements, Transactional Agreements and Contract Agreements.\r\nReview and negotiate Contracts, Purchase Orders and Modifications.\r\nConduct \"issue specific\" and \"new hire\" training for Sales and Consulting.\r\nAnswer inquiries from and propose problem resolution for Gartner's Accounts Receivable issues.\r\nInterface/dialog with clients to discuss acquisition solutions and/or resolve/explain issues.\r\nProvide advice on general and public sector legal issues.\r\nWho you are\r\nMotivated, high-potential performer, with demonstrated ability to influence and lead.\r\nAble to support sales teams in a positive manner that ensures ethically and legally compliant contracting and business practices while promoting the business.\r\nMust be comfortable navigating differing and potentially conflicting demands for multiple constituencies to reach viable sales solutions.\r\nStrong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.\r\nAble to solve complex problems and successfully manage ambiguity and unexpected change.\r\nTeachable and embracing of best practices and feedback as a means of continuous improvement.\r\nConsistently high achiever marked by perseverance, humility and a positive outlook in the face of challenges.\r\nAbility to collaborate with a team of contract managers and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.\r\nRole Qualifications\r\nUndergraduate degree, Juris Doctor degree preferred.\r\nA minimum of 5+ years' experience in government contracting, consulting / advisory, or related field. State and local government sales support desired.\r\nFamiliarity with government contracting terminology and compliance requirements.\r\nDemonstrated knowledge and experience negotiating Fixed Price subscription licensing agreements and Consulting main contracts.\r\nExcellent written and oral communication skills.\r\nAbility to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.\r\nKnowledge and experience in the use of MS Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint a plus).\r\nStrong process management skills with the ability to multi-task and meet firm deadlines.\r\nStrong time management and prioritization skills.\r\nStrong attention to detail.\r\nCompensation & Benefits\r\nGartner offers world-class benefits, highly competitive compensation and disproportionate rewards for top performers.
