You’ll be part of a collaborative and inclusive team that values your ideas and contributions.\n\nPosition Overview\n\nThe Data Operations Internship is designed for a currently studying data analytics, business operations, computer information systems, or a related field. The intern will support Product Realization management source data, maintaining program records, validating data quality, preparing documentation, and supporting recurring reporting and follow-up activities.\n\nThe role provides hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 tools, Power BI, Excel, SharePoint, and operational data processes. The intern will work with cross-functional stakeholders while developing practical skills in data analysis, reporting, documentation, and process improvement.\n\nEssential Functions and Responsibilities\n\nAnalyze automated and ad hoc CRM reports to identify new or missing engineering and production opportunities that meet Product Realization tracking criteria.\n\nUse Excel functions, filters, comparisons, and lookups to reconcile source reports against PRD records and flag potential data gaps or inconsistencies\n\nAdd approved opportunities to the Product Realization Dashboard and accurately populate required program, customer, ownership, phase, status, ramp, and documentation fields\n\nCreate and organize SharePoint program directories and upload the required Product Realization phase folders, templates, and supporting records.\n\nApprove initial submission and manage checklist for newly added opportunities, documenting any questions or data concerns for review.\n\nReview corporate PBIs and PRD Details in Power BI to monitor data completeness, program assignments, transition constraints, health indicators, ramp dates, and update status.\n\nValidate that program health indicators, main constraints, comments, and key dates are internally consistent; escalate conflicting or unclear information to the appropriate owner.\n\nConfirm that awarded programs have an assigned Program Manager and coordinate with the appropriate business owner when assignments or required information are missing.\n\nMonitor weekly program updates, identify stale records, and send professional follow-up communications to Program Managers or opportunity owners when updates are needed\n\nSupport dashboard access requests and basic user enablement so authorized Program Managers can maintain their assigned records\n\nDocument recurring data issues, process observations, and improvement opportunities; contribute to standardized work instructions and efficient data management practices.\n\nCollaborate with Product Realization, Program Management, Commercial, Operations, and other stakeholders to resolve data questions and improve reporting visibility\n\nExperience and Skills\n\nFoundational knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, formulas, and working with structured data.\nInterest in data analytics, data quality, reporting, business operations, or process improvement.\nStrong attention to detail and willingness to investigate incomplete, inconsistent, or unclear information.\nAbility to organize work, follow documented procedures, and manage recurring daily and weekly responsibilities.\nProfessional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to follow up with stakeholders respectfully and clearly.\nAbility to learn new business systems and tools, including Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, and CRM reporting.\nComfort asking questions, receiving feedback, and working through unfamiliar business processes in a structured manner.\nFamiliarity with Power BI, SharePoint, Power Automate, data visualization, or AI productivity tools is a plus, not a requirement.\n\nEducation\n\nCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s degree, some relevant areas of study may include:\n\nData Analytics or Data Science\n\nBusiness, Business Analytics, or Operations\n\nComputer Information Systems or Management Information Systems\n\nComputer Science\n\nSupply Chain, Engineering, or a related analytical discipline\n\nGeographical Location: Arizona: Tempe\n\nPhysical Location: Tempe, AZ - Headquarters\n\nShift: Shift 1\n\nWork Schedule: No Set Schedule\n\nPart Time\n\nIn our innovative environment, you'll work with cutting-edge technology, leading the way in engineering design and delivering world-class manufacturing services for products that make a real difference in the lives of others.
