This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in heavy equipment operation, inventory management, and warehouse logistics within a fast-paced environment.\n\n*Duties*\n\n* Safely load and unload materials using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes while adhering to OSHA safety protocols.\n* Operate material handling equipment including heavy machinery like cranes and forklifts to move goods within the warehouse efficiently.\n* Pick and prepare orders accurately using RF scanners and manual handling techniques to meet shipping deadlines.\n* Manage inventory by organizing stock locations, conducting regular cycle counts, and updating inventory records with precision.\n* Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments, inspecting goods for damage, and ensuring proper documentation.\n* Load and unload trucks, ensuring materials are handled carefully to prevent damage or injury during transfer.\n* Maintain a clean, organized workspace while following safety procedures to prevent accidents or hazards.\n\n*Requirements*\n\n* Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar environments with knowledge of warehouse operations.\n* Hands-on experience with order picking, shipping & receiving, and inventory management systems.\n* Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and load & unload machinery safely.\n* Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and adherence to safety protocols at all times.\n* Strong manual handling skills combined with basic math proficiency for accurate measurements and inventory counts.\n* Prior experience as a warehouse supervisor or in warehouse distribution is a plus.\n* Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory accuracy and order fulfillment.\n\nEmbark on a rewarding career where your skills make a tangible impact!
