Instructional Enrichment and Learning Design Coordinator
The Instructional Enrichment and Learning Design Coordinator leads the district's instructional coaching program to drive high-quality, consistent instructional practice across campuses by building coaching capacity, ensuring fidelity to the district coaching model, and strengthening implementation coherence. The position also supports the Innovative School Day (ISD) by aligning coaching, instructional enrichment, and innovative instructional practices through campus and community partnerships. RESPONSIBILITIES: Instructional Coaching Program LeadershipLead and support the implementation and continuous improvement of the district's instructional coaching program.Build instructional coach capacity through targeted professional learning, collaboration, and ongoing support.Ensure fidelity to the district coaching model across campuses through clear expectations, tools, and monitoring processes.Support coaching calibration and consistency to reduce variability in coaching practice and impact.Collaborate with district leaders to refine coaching systems, resources, and practices based on campus feedback and data.Partner with principals and instructional leadership teams to strengthen the integration of instructional coaching into campus improvement efforts. Collaboration and CommunicationEstablish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with principals, instructional leadership teams, instructional coaches, teachers, and district staff.Facilitate cross-campus collaboration and professional learning related to instructional coaching, instructional design, and innovative practices.Communicate clearly and consistently regarding expectations, resources, and supports connected to coaching and ISD initiatives. Data, Reports, and Program ImprovementUse qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate instructional coaching effectiveness and related instructional supports.Assist with the development of reports, tools, and resources to inform instructional decision-making and continuous improvement.Maintain documentation and records related to coaching, enrichment, and assigned initiatives.Maintain confidentiality of records and data according to all applicable policies. EXPERIENCE: Minimum Experience:Three years of classroom teaching experienceExperience supporting or leading instructional initiatives, coaching, or professional learningExperience collaborating with campus leaders and instructional teams QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Education/Certification:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or universityMaster's degree from an accredited college or university preferredHold a valid Texas certificateValid Texas driver's licenseEligible for coverage under the District's vehicle insurance program Special Knowledge/Skills:Strong knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and assessmentDeep understanding of instructional coaching models and effective coaching practicesKnowledge of instructional design principles and effective lesson designUnderstanding of innovative instructional models, enrichment programming, and student-centered learningAbility to analyze and interpret data to inform instructional coaching and program improvementSkill in facilitating professional learning, coaching calibration, and collaborative planning with adult learnersStrong organizational, communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to manage partnerships and coordinate multiple initiativesGrowth mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and instructional innovationCapable of technical and professional writing OTHER INFORMATION: Working Conditions Mental/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Ability to concentrate (detailed work), communicate effectively (verbal and written); interpret policy, procedures, and data; reason, understand verbal instructions, analyze, differentiate, memorize, read, coordinate district functions, compile, compute, instruct, and maintain emotional control under stress.
