Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances\nResponsible for ensuring consistent high quality of food preparation and service\nMaintain professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards\nWork with main office staff for efficient provisioning and purchasing of supplies. Supervise portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste\nEstimate food needs, place orders with distributors, and schedule the delivery of fresh food and supplies\nMust be ServSafe certified\nWill uphold all ServSafe guidelines\nEnsure positive guest service in all areas. Respond to complaints, taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests\nEnsure that proper security procedures are in place to protect employees, guests and company assets\nEnsure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents. Completes accident reports promptly in the event that a guest or employee is injured\nManage shifts which include: daily decision making, scheduling, planning while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness\nMaintain an accurate and up-to-date plan of restaurant staffing needs. Prepare schedules and ensure that the restaurant is staffed for all shifts\nInvestigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service\nProvide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues. Interview hourly employees.\nDirect hiring, supervision, development and, when necessary\nConduct orientation and new hire training, explain the Common Bond Philosophy, and oversee the training of new employees\nDevelop employees by providing ongoing feedback, establishing performance expectations and by conducting annual performance reviews\nManages team members fairly and take a personal interest in knowing all team members\nProject a positive and motivated attitude among team members\nCoach and counsel team members in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy\nReports to: Director of Operations\nFLSA Status: Exempt\nIn every city, village, and town the “common bond” that everyone shares is the love of good food.
