Candidates who have some sort of manufacturing or light industrial experience, knowledge or understanding - but client is NOT requiring this. Job Roles and Responsibilities:Performs assembly work utilizing lean principles (one-piece flow) to produce FDA regulated devices in a controlled work environment.1. Learn and carry out detailed work instructions2. Assemble components to include gluing, weaving, packaging, coiling, welding using various hand tools and bench top pneumatic presses3. Handle and evaluate quality of small parts during manufacturing processes4. Troubleshoot simple equipment malfunctions5. Promote and support a safe working environment6. Inform team lead/supervisor of any problems pertaining to production, parts, equipment or processes7. Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment8. Adhere to Shop Practices including proper gowning and use of personal protective equipment9. Supports and promotes LEAN operations by following standard work to include Safety Observations, Idea Generation and Hour by Hour Board updates10. Meet quality assurance requirements and complete documentation associated with same11.
