The company is committed to delivering exceptional value to our customers through sustainable solutions focusing on quality, productivity and affordability.\nUnder the supervision of the Quality Supervisor, an Assembly Process Inspector 1 shall be able to perform any and all types of minor inspections using necessary equipment, caliper, micrometer, pin gages, etc., to perform those inspections. The Assembly Process Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that assembled product is compliant with design requirements.\nReporting to the Quality Supervisor, the Assembly Process Inspector 1 will work closely with the Shipping and Assembly Supervisor on daily priorities and task completion.\nEssential Functions\nInspects assembled parts using best practices, inspection plans and tools commensurate with abilities such as:\nCalipers\nMicrometers\nGauge Pins\nReviews processing vendor certifications and product to verify compliance to Royell purchase order and work order; conducting the necessary measurements to establish compliance to drawing for thicknesses and masked features.\nInspects assemblies and sub-assemblies using standard inspection plans and checklists.\nMaintains the integrity of the inspection queue system. Working on carts in a first in - first out order ensuring that carts are processed within the 3-day allotted queue time.\nEnsures traceability of all products through review for completion or work sequences, material issues and product counts.\nCompletes necessary departmental documentation, such as:\nFirst Article Inspection Reports.\nRed tags / Blue tags.\nManufacturing Work Order.\nInspection Finding Sheets.\nEnters necessary departmental information into dedicated computer systems, such as:\nRejection tags.\nQ (Inspection Queue system in Proman MRP).\nFilling digital documents in archive folders.\nCommunicates part status (good / reject / exact problems) with internal personnel.\nMaintains the integrity of the shelf-life tracking system.\nMaintains clean / organized work area.\nMaintains confidentiality of company records.\nCommunicates shift tie-in information, inspection status, and first part queuing with incoming inspection personnel.\nSupports company goals and embraces new and revised company system elements and willing use them as intended.\nMust regularly maintain good attendance per policy each attendance year.\nOther related duties as assigned.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nUses all inspection equipment commensurate to the duties listed above.\nReads and interprets part drawings to the extent necessary to perform duties listed above.\nReads and interprets process specifications to the extent necessary to perform the duties listed above.\nUnderstands Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing requirements to perform the duties listed above, such as finding and understanding the interpretations within the Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Standard, ANSI/AMSE Y14.5.\nGood problem-solving capabilities.\nCore Competencies and Expectations\nMust comply with all company policies and procedures, including Human Resources Policies and Procedures, SOP's, work rules, and supervisory/management instructions.\nPromote the Company’s commitment to workplace health, safety, and environmental compliance by abiding by our work rules, policies, and procedures.\nMust read, write, and speak English proficiently to effectively perform the essential functions of this job.\nEffectively work under strict production deadlines and effectively manage stress.\nCooperate and comply with supervisor’s reasonable instructions.\nListen and collaborate effectively, either individually or as part of a team.\nRepresent customers, suppliers, and coworkers with respect, courtesy, and dignity.\nDemonstrates a high level of commitment to your job, doing whatever is necessary to get the job done.\nUse work appropriate methods to resolve interpersonal conflicts with others by communicating with them using tact, diplomacy, and language (both verbal and nonverbal) appropriate to a work environment.\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent GED certificate of completion.\n1 year of job experience with precision machined part assemblies or equivalent demonstrated proficiency.\nDesirable Qualifications\nDemonstrates ability to think analytically.\n1 or more years’ experience with aerospace product drawings and specifications.\nCertified in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.\nRoyell Manufacturing, Inc. offers a great career growth culture, competitive salary, holidays, vacation, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision, life, AD&D and a 401k plan.
