Warehouse Automation Project Manager
Position SummarySeeking an experienced Warehouse Automation Project Manager to lead capital automation projects within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role involves managing automated warehouse and intralogistics systems, including installation, integration, commissioning, and optimization activities supporting GMP operations.Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end warehouse automation projects including scope, schedule, budget, and resources.Lead installation, commissioning, qualification, and retrofit of automation systems.Oversee integration of ASRS, AGVs, AMRs, conveyors, and warehouse technologies with MES, WMS, ERP, and SCADA systems.Coordinate with engineering, operations, IT, validation, quality, vendors, and construction teams.Support FAT/SAT, startup activities, operational readiness, and risk mitigation.Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and regulatory standards.Provide project updates, stakeholder communication, and schedule tracking using MS Project or Primavera P6.Required Qualifications4+ years of Project Management experience in pharmaceutical capital projects.Hands-on experience with warehouse automation/intralogistics systems.Experience with equipment installation, commissioning, and IT system integration.Strong understanding of manufacturing/shop floor operations.Proficiency with project scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera P6, etc.).Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred QualificationsPharma, biotech, or life sciences industry experience.GMP/GxP environment knowledge.Experience with WMS/MES systems.PMP certification preferred.Experience working with automation vendors/system integrators.
