Job DescriptionMarketing Director, Email and ConversionResponsibilitiesThe Marketing Director oversees the email and lead generation programs for 4 major beauty brands in a multi-channel environment.The role will be responsible for developing, optimizing, supervising, and executing the email acquisition efforts for new and existing customers as well as managing the testing and reporting programs.This includes overseeing management of all email retention, acquisition, lead generation, website testing and on-site conversion optimization.This role will work closely with the Digital Creative Department to constantly improve website conversion and increase customer acquisition through email channels.A blend of strategic and tactical experience is necessary. This person is expected to execute.Individual must also be comfortable with basic direct response principles such as conducting ROI analysis and adjusts marketing mix to achieve customer acquisition and profitability objectives; evaluate market reactions to advertising programs, merchandising policy, and product packaging and formulation to ensure the timely adjustment of marketing strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions, analyze customer lifetime value and lifecycle trends and adjusts marketing programs accordingly.Qualifications5-7 years experience in Digital Marketing Leadership role including prior management supervisory experience of a digital marketing team.Direct response and performance based marketing program experience is criticalExperience in website optimization with heavy emphasis on metrics, data and driving conversion; a critical component to success in this role3-4 years of experience with email customer acquisition campaignsFull understanding of on-page optimization methods such as key word placement, strategically optimized SEO contentExpert in internet best practices and the impact that these have on SEO and inbox deliverabilityAbility to identify new areas of eCommerce opportunity beyond current organizational thinkingProvide expertise on current eCommerce industry best practices.Experience with website analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Heat Mapping technology, etc…Experience with email deliverability and IP reputation monitoring neededExperience building out successful Lead Gen programsExecute internet Marketing best practices that result in healthy customer acquisition, retention and growthDevelopment of innovative creativeEducationBachelors Degree required: e.g. Marketing or Business preferredOther RequirementsTeam oriented; team comes first hereAbility to run a revenue line item with an eye towards profit contributionAbility to perform in a very fast pace environmentProven success record for building online presenceVery positive attitudeAbility to work in a team oriented environmentAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Job LocationJ-18808-Ljbffr
