Founded in 1927, the Vantage group employs over 900 staff in multiple locations across the United States, Canada, and United Kingdom.\nRequirements\nWe are searching for a candidate with:\nAssociates in Electrical or electronics principles or equivalent experience\n6 months experience working in a manufacturing environment\nMust be able to read electronic/electrical wiring schematic diagrams\nMust have the ability to identify electronic & electrical parts\nFamiliarity with electronic & electrical principles\nAbility to use multi-meters and other measuring equipment and tools\nGood communication skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization professionally\nMust have strong attention to detail\nWillingness to cross train to assist other stations on the production floor as needed\nAbility to life and/or push, pull, carry up to 25 pounds frequently\nMust be able to sit, stand, bend, and reach regularly\nAbility to use hand tools and power tools as needed\nMust be willing and able to adhere to safety protocols, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes and safety glasses\nDuties and Responsibilities\nA typical day may include:\nPerforms bench-type inspections/processes to complete the inspection of mechanical and electrical assemblies and subassemblies using schematics and a variety of hand tools and pneumatic and electronic tooling\nEnsures wires are routed and installed per customer’s specification, flagging any non-conformances\nPulls on wiring to ensure proper attachment and wire-tolerance exists, flagging any non-conformances\nMay repair minor non-conformances per specifications, to include measuring and/or cutting wire per exact specifications\nMay attach wires to PCB board using appropriate hand tools/equipment\nMay perform some soldering\nUses multi-meters regularly while completing work assignments\nMeets daily production goals as defined by Team Lead and daily production schedule\nMaintains work area in a clean and organized manner, adheres to 5S and shop floor protocols\nLearns and maintains working knowledge of company Safety and Quality Policies\nKeeps a high awareness level on a daily basis of Electrostatic Discharge Safety (ESD) and overall Quality policies.\nOther job-related duties as assigned\nBenefits of Working With Us\nSalary Range for Sacramento-based Applicants: $20.00 -
