Engineer","description":"Process Engineer\nOklo is seeking a Process Engineer to join our engineering team and immediately contribute to the design, engineering analysis, and operation of fluid and power process systems used in our power plants.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDesign fluid and process systems, including piping, valves, compressors, pumps, and heat exchangers.\n\nDefine process equipment architecture, specifications, operational modes, and performance criteria.\n\nDesign, assemble, and operate prototypes for iterative design refinement.\n\nGenerate documentation for system layout, fabrication, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of process equipment.\n\nServe as process system owner throughout multiple lifecycle stages.\n\nGenerate technical documentation for regulatory filings.\n\nWork with external vendors on process equipment analysis, procurement, and testing.\n\nDocument work using modern tools and techniques, and compose well‑written technical reports.\n\nQualifications\n\nEngineering education (Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, Aerospace or related).\n\nExperience performing design or modification engineering on process equipment used in petroleum, nuclear, petrochemical, or pharmaceutical industries.\n\nBroad familiarity with engineering principles and strong systems engineering and operations intuition.\n\nFluency in designing fluids/process systems, power generation, heat transfer equipment, and/or systems engineering.\n\nWillingness and ability to learn quickly and think creatively.\n\nComfortable operating in a fast‑paced, highly iterative startup environment.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nTravel Requirement\nRemote employees must travel to Oklo headquarters (Santa Clara, CA) twice
