Senior IT & Cybersecurity Audit ManagerConnecticut | Manufacturing | Hybrid (some business travel)About the RoleWe are looking for a Senior IT & Cybersecurity Audit Manager to join a global Internal Audit team. This role is responsible for evaluating IT general controls, cybersecurity controls, and overall risk management practices across the organisation.You will partner with IT, finance and business leadership to assess risk, strengthen controls and support the company’s cybersecurity posture in a complex, global environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and execute IT audit engagements, including ITGCs, cybersecurity reviews, operational audits and SOX testingSupport enterprise risk assessments, including the development of risk and control matricesPlan and scope audits based on risk prioritisation and business needsEvaluate IT systems, infrastructure and security controls to identify gaps and improvement areasProvide actionable recommendations to mitigate risk and strengthen control environmentsCollaborate with stakeholders across IT and business functions to understand processes and risksPrepare and present audit findings and reports to senior leadershipTrack audit issues and monitor remediation progressPerform cybersecurity-related reviews, including vulnerability assessments and control testingQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related fieldProfessional certification required (CISA, CISSP, CISM, CIA, CEH or similar)6–8+ years of experience in IT audit, IT risk or cybersecurityStrong knowledge of information security frameworks and compliance requirementsExperience assessing IT controls, infrastructure and systems environmentsStrong analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes and risk implicationsClear communication skills, including report writing and executive-level presentations
