Working for our team, you can truly make a difference.   \nWe are currently looking for a Finishing Machine Operator to join our team.    \nWhy work at MCC:    \n\n$1,000 sign on bonus \nGenerous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance and 401(k)\nPaid Holidays: New Years, Day after New Years, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day\n\n Responsibilities:   \n\nContinuously checks for print and seam quality.\nRemoves defective material and splices the roll web back together per the specification.\nUtilizes a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedure (tools are used at other times as necessary).\nHandles rolls and palletizes them accordingly as to not cause damage to them.\nMust understand basic printing and seam related defects.\nRecording and entering data on designated paperwork as well as in the company operation system (Radius)\nParticipates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned\n\nPreferred Skills:   \n\nQuality conscious and customer focused\nSelf-directed individual with outstanding decision making and problem-solving skills\nAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization\nAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Software including Outlook and have the ability to learn company specialized software program\nAbility to add and subtract, multiply and divide to figure label counts and conversions\nAbility to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance\nParticipates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned\n\nQualifications:   \n\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience\nExperience or in-depth knowledge of lithographic, flexographic, or digital printing preferred \nThe physical demands require standing, using hands to feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear.\nThis position requires frequent walking.\nOccasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.\nMust be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.\nContinuous eye concentration.\n\nThe physical demands require standing, using hands to finger, feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear.
