This position provides specially designed instruction and support to students with disabilities in accordance with IEP goals and state/federal special education regulations. Responsibilities include collaborating with general education staff and families, implementing accommodations and interventions, monitoring student progress, maintaining compliance documentation, and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment. The teacher will support students academically, socially, and behaviorally to promote student success and independence. Applicants must have or be eligible for Kansas State certification/licensure or be interested in becoming certified/licensed to teach special education students in the State of Kansas on a waiver.
