Receiver

PurposeThe Receiver / ICC Manager is responsible for overseeing all receiving, inventory control, and back‑room processes to ensure accurate product flow, inventory integrity, and operational efficiency. This role supports store profitability through tight controls, compliance, and coordination with department leaders and vendors.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily receiving operations, including deliveries, verification, and documentationEnsure accurate receiving, logging, and disposition of all warehouse and DSD productMaintain inventory accuracy through proper processes, audits, and system controlsOversee ICC processes including credits, transfers, damages, and returnsEnsure proper back‑room organization, cleanliness, and safety standardsLead, train, schedule, and develop receiving/ICC associates as applicableMonitor shrink, shortages, and discrepancies; investigate and resolve variancesMaintain compliance with company policies, food safety, and safety proceduresCommunicate with vendors, department managers, and store leadership as neededSupport store leadership with inventory‑related reporting and controlsKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong understanding of receiving and inventory control processesHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage shrink, credits, and discrepancy resolutionEffective organization, time‑management, and communication skillsAbility to lead and hold associates accountable to standardsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPrior receiving, inventory control, or grocery operations experience requiredSupervisory or leadership experience preferredAbility to work early mornings, flexible schedules, and weekends as neededWorking ConditionsBack‑room and dock‑area environmentFrequent standing, walking, bending, and liftingExposure to varying temperatures and delivery schedules
