We’re not just another machine shop; we are future-builders.\nOVERVIEW\nWe are seeking a self-motivated and experienced Quality Management Representative to oversee our Quality Management System and ensure compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.\nReporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Management Representative creates and maintains documentation pertaining to the quality system, develops and leads the internal programs, manages the internal corrective action system, prepares and delivers quality systems training, and leads periodic reviews of the system.\nThe Quality Management Representative is the primary contact for internal and external customer requests concerning product compliance. The Quality Management Representative must be a clear and relational communicator, capable of training others and collaborating with cross-functional groups of employees in maintaining and improving the quality system and processes to adhere to AS9100 standards.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES\nResponsible for overall maintenance, coordination, planning, evolution, and audits of the Quality Management System (QMS)\nExecuting internal audits to ensure compliance\nOversee external audit activities (Customer and Regulatory)\nCoordinate RCCA activities\nProcess customer return requests and concerns\nComplete customer onboarding documentation and surveys\nAdminister QMS and quality practices trainings\nWork closely with department leads and managers to develop new processes; publishing procedures and work instructions relating to internal processes and practices\nMotivate and coach team responsible for Calibrations, PPAP, Source Inspections, Quality Document Review, and Deviation Requests\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:\n5 years’ experience maintaining AS9100 standards in a manufacturing organization\nMinimum of 3 years participation in internal and external AS9100 audits\nMust have strong written and verbal communication skills to interface with all parties – customers, vendors, colleagues, superiors, etc.\nExcellent problem solving, presentation, and communication skills\nAbility to work independently and prioritize workload and project schedules\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nCertified Lead Auditor\nExperience in a precision machine shop environment\nExperience using RCCA methods (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, etc)\nExperience working within a multi-site Quality Management System\nWHAT WE OFFER\nMachine Sciences takes pride in creating a culture for our employees that supports and fosters growth, offers exciting challenges and promotes talent.
